New research from the U.S indicates more women rather than men feel inadequately equipped to meet their own high standards with family and workplace commitments.
The study involving 288 adults showed that women suffer more than men when it came to meeting their own expectations. In fact, the researchers stress that perfectionism has a negative effect on the work-life balance. This would be true for men too but women apparently take work ‘too seriously’!
