Bihar Farmers Make Their Daughters Plough Naked For Rain!

July 27, 2009 at 12:24 pm (News, Travel, weird, women) (, , , , )

Superstitions and misinformation rule some parts of the world. None more so than in Bihar. And once again, showing their authority in such matters, Bihar has outdone the country in a bid for rain.

While there was much silliness around the country to attract rain (yagnas, pujas and what not), there was no place in the country where young daughters were made to plough the fields naked. By their own fathers.

July 22, 2009 at 10:06 am (How-to, Travel, women) (, , , , )

Ah, hot waitresses. Those untouchable queens of the restaurant. Nowhere in the world are those waitresses hotter than at Hooters, the American chain of shamelessly boob-oreintated bars that, which they may not be the coolest place in the world, but it’s definitely our favourite place to check out girls in shiny orange shorts.

July 22, 2009 at 10:04 am (Travel, women) (, , , )

The human body is an amazing work of art, as most followers of Megan Fox and Gisele Bündchen will attest. Perhaps that’s why the form is even more fascinating when covered by an ornately detailed layer of paint.

We had collected some images from the event, because it seems like an artistic medium we can all appreciate, from art history doctorates to gawking dolts like us.

City officials had sought a court injunction against the parade on the grounds that it violates a law banning offensive public events. But Judge Nicola Mathers ruled that, while some might consider the event tasteless, the 80,000 people who gathered for it last year would probably disagree.

Revenge of the blondes?

On the contrary, an association of blonde women from Latvia decided to be proactive about spreading cheer to their tiny recession-hit country.
